Turismo Cuida benefits 40 members of high-andean communities

We are extremely exited to have been one of the seven chosen projects for the 2015 Turismo Cuida grant awarded through the National TurismoCuida Contest. This grant that will be destined to implementing the first Llama Breeding Training Workshop that will take place on April-May 2016 and will benefit 40 community members from different high-Andean communities within the Urubamba Mountain Range. Many thanks to Turismo Cuida for supporting this initiative and to Jane Wheeler from CONOPA and Steven Purdy from Nuñoa Project for assessing us throughout the process. We are looking forward to having Peru Rail and Belmond assist us throughout the workshop implementation. More news coming soon!

Tursimo Cuida has a donation program that supports Peruvian organizations that implement tourism projects which contribute to the preservation and conservation of the cultural heritage of Peru through responsible tourism.
